Taco Seasoning

This blend of spices will make you think you ran to the store and purchased a package of remade taco seasoning.  This batch will give you 14, 1/2 tablespoon servings.  Use it to your taste. We usually add about 1 tablespoon to 1 pound of ground beef with 1/4 cup of water

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbls Chili powder
  • 3 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 tsp pink salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients and store in an air tight container (We use an old spice jar)

Notes

You can play around with you measurements a little. Increasing the cumin will bring a stronger Mexican flavor to this. If you want a spicer taco sauce, add some cayenne pepper.
