Macro Calculator
There are several ways to calculate your keto macros to lose weight however we suggest you don’t focus on calories. Because of that, the easiest way to calculate and track your macros is by using the Protein to Energy formula. This basically means we eat on a ONE to ONE basis meaning for each gram of Protein we consume, we can have up to that much energy, which is comprised of Fat and Carbohydrates. Use the calculator below to determine your macros. Once you calculate your macros, remember the Protein is a goal you should hit each day and it’s ok to exceed it by a little. The fat and carbohydrates (Energy) are a limit and you should not go over them if you are trying to lose weight. It’s ok to stay under by 10%-20% but try to do this on a regular basis as it will result in a stall that will be hard to get out of. Please keep in mind this is just a guide. If you are losing more than 1-2 pounds a week, you should increase your fat slightly and re-evaluate.
